This is an inexpensive device that will split your OTA signal into multiple sub-signals, allowing you to push free TV broadcasting to multiple TVs. So if you have a weak or marginal signal coming from your antenna, splitting it will have a negative effect. Finally the more distance the signal has to travel, the weaker the signal becomes. So fewer feet in coaxial cable, means stronger signal, equating to better picture quality.
Be careful with 3-way splitters. Signal loss can vary substantially across the three outputs. Meaning if used, two TVs could work fine, while the third would suffer from a weaker signal. I did some research and found an example of a Splitter that addresses this issue: Click here to read the reviews: As I eluded too above, we are trying to remove as many variables as possible from the installation. If successful go ahead and connect three TVs.
And again, test the signal.

August 17, 9: This is all fine but you are still limited with Bluetooth which is why no one really makes large Bluetooth systems but simple portable devices. As stated before bandwidth with Bluetooth is limited in he first place so you will not get the sound you would over a wireless 5ghz signal and there is still the range of Bluetooth which is very limited.
Although it has improved in distance it is still not ideal. If I am going to want to run a larger system, I would definitely want the quality and Bluetooth will not give you that. Stick with either hardwiring your speakers with a docking station or jack or go wireless. If you are going for portability and small footprint and just want to listen to music without true fidelity but just have music then Bluetooth is the answer.
Example of the lack of bandwidth would be shown in the transfer of a photo from one device to another: Also most Bluetooth devices can be purchased from very cheap to somewhat expensive. Even with the expensive versions you will not get the immersive sound you would over Wi-Fi. As said before as well Bluetooth is a somewhat secure connection and thus less interference in the connection while playing music.
How to Connect Multiple TVs
Share on Facebook With one cable or antenna source, you can connect multiple TVs to share the signal. You can connect as many TVs as you want; the only limiting factor is the amount of supplies you have. Connecting TVs is not only good for daily use, but it’s also good for parties. Set up your TVs around the house to allow people to walk around and still see what’s going on instead of having to cramp together around the same TV.
The average American household has between 2 and 3 TV sets. So, it’s not surprising that one of the most common questions I get asked is whether or not it’s possible to connect multiple TVs to a single antenna.
Rating This little bugger far exceeded my expectations! I was amazed at the number of stations available and the quality of the reception. Directions were easy to follow and set up was a breeze. I highly recommend it. We live twenty-five miles from the tv stations in a rural setting. I got the basic leaf and it works great.
I got a second because the first did so well. Now I have almost a couple hundred dollars worth of antennas that might as well be recycled compared to the Leaf. This was by far the best of the group – all the rest were returned. I am in los angeles and was using radio shack rabbit ears one but that antenna needs to be in higher position and you can’t fix that one on the wall.

Once you have your Antenna all hooked up, the next thing you need to do is connect a coaxial splitter. This is an inexpensive device that will split your OTA signal into multiple sub-signals, allowing you to push free TV broadcasting to multiple TVs.
The main problem that viewers face is not being able to see a separate channel on each television sharing the signal. If this is not an issue for the setup, then the following options are available for those who wish to continue: Method One — Using Optional Receiver Outputs If the televisions are not too far apart, the simplest option is to use the available outputs on the receiver to split the connection. Most modern day DirecTV receivers have the following outputs: SVideo — used with SVideo capable devices.
A DirecTV receiver can process video through each and every output available on the hardware. The most common setup for optional receiver output is using the HDMI connection for the most immediate television since HDMI cables come in short lengths , a component cable connection or AV cable connection for the next closest television, and the coaxial cable for the furthest televisions.
Of course the quality of the signal will be different for each output due to the nature of the technology being used and the quality of the signal being routed from the receiver. A large number of households can accommodate the splitting of the signal this way. Viewers should consider drilling holes in inconspicuous locations to shorten cable lengths.
This is because long length cables considerably lower the quality of the signal that the television receives. Many options use the Red and White audio outputs on the receiver. Using more than one would require an additional splitter for the sound output.

Will a TV antenna work for me if I have many trees around my house?
